Motiv Sports – one of the world’s leading producers of sports events – is on a mission to disrupt endurance. Going beyond traditional event capture and the tired ‘recap’ videos, we set out to tell the story of the race by developing a more holistic content strategy that would immerse their audience and boost entry sales for the following year.
The Big Idea: Main Character Moments.
With a focus on social stories, vox pops, crowd interactions, and highlighting the energy of the crowd, we were able to create a time capsule for mini personal narratives that went live before participants even had time to get home and put their feet up—just in time for them to reshare on their stories.
This narrative-led strategy significantly increased the visibility and engagement of Motiv’s content, generating 150,000+ new views on Instagram alone – demonstrating the power of a dynamic, fresh approach to storytelling and experiential content.
